How to prepare HTML5 file for Ad Words Remarketing campaign

Using various technologies in banner becomes more and more popular. Simple standard digital ads may attract users, but may not always stand out from the crowd. Although coming up with a concept for a digital banner may be challenging, it often pays off. One of the most recent trends is the HTML5. You can build animated banners, but to upload it to your AdWords account needs some knowledge and best way to edit it before upload, is to use Google Web Designer.

How to prepare HTML5 animated banner for upload:

1. Download and install Google Web Designer
2. Remove template files with formats are not supported by Google (*.json, *.File)
3. opened HTML you’ve made in Dream Viewer in Google Web Designer
4. re-save it different folder (it will collect all files are included) and “Published” on local drive as zip from Google Web Designer (icon “publish” you can see on footer)
5. create ad, choose type “image” and upload zip

Another issue people can experience with HTML5 ad banner – is file weight, you can not upload zip over 150 kb – Google restriction.
